Ottawa held its Festival of Lights Parade Friday night. The annual parade goes from just north of Veterans Memorial Bridge to Washington Park where the lights in the park are turned on after some singing and a countdown led by Mayor Bob Eschbach.

Construction on the Marseilles Dam is on schedule. The City Council got an update earlier this month from project manager Matt Coffelt of the Army Corp of Engineers.

The Ottawa Food Pantry used to give a half gallon of milk per month to families it gave food to. Manager Roy Peters says the amount doubled to a gallon this year.
