Adopt An Acre - March 26, 2012

2012 Project Starts
The 2012 Adopt-An-Acre Project is underway led by operator Bob Beutke in conjunction with the LaSalle County Farm Bureau and two new sponsors for this year. Thank you to Grainco FS and Farmers Grain Service of Grand Ridge for partnering with WCMY, Bob and Farm Bureau as Jay LeSeure joins Bob in growing and managing an acre of beans and an acre of corn on the Thorson Farm in Fall River Township. The fields are on either side of Friendship Village Road approximately two miles east of Illinois 23. They're marked by signs on the north and side ditches of the roadway. Hear Adopt-An-Acre updates every Monday morning at 6:50.
