Eva Kay Stout, 90

Eva Katheleen “Kay” Stout, 90, of Ottawa, Illinois, formerly of Galesburg, died Sunday, August 11, 2013, at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center.
Private Services were held and the arrangements were entrusted to the Ottawa Funeral Home.
Kay was born February 23, 1923, in West Point, Illinois, to Virgil and Alice (Anderson) Neill.
She worked for Weaver Yemm Chevrolet and retired from Galesburg City Hall.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Carl Sandburg Historical Site Association, both in Galesburg.
She enjoyed her crossword puzzle and word search books and was a long-time fan of the Galesburg High School boys and girls basketball teams.  For the last few years, she was a resident of Heritage Woods of Ottawa and was grateful for her friends and the professional care of its staff at the facility.
She is survived by two sons, Steven (Judy) Stout of Utica, Robin (Elise) Stout of New York, and one daughter, Pamela Nour of Texas; five grandchildren, Sarah and Tracy Nour, Hayley Stout, and Alice and Leah Wagner-Stout; one great grandchild; two sisters, Phyllis Roate and Dorothy Oates; and one brother, Donald Neill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Claire Neill; and one sister, Alice Joann Dierking.
