Joshua A. Reed, 29, of Ottawa, Illinois, died Sunday, February 24, 2013.
Funeral Service for Joshua will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Wedron, with Rev. Seymour Halford officiating. Burial will be in DeBolt Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5 at Ottawa Funeral Home.
Joshua was born November 9, 1983, in Ottawa, Illinois, to Burney and Ticia (Leslie) Reed. He worked in Sales. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wedron.
He is survived by his parents; one son, Connor Noah Reed and his mother, Charesise Lipsman; one brother, Justin (Kate) Reed of Streator; one sister, Hannah Reed of Ottawa; his maternal grandmother, Carole Leslie of Wedron; his paternal grandmother, Pearl Donnelly of Peru; his nieces, Leah and Anna Reed; and his significant friend, Vickie Crot of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Donald Leslie and Bill Donnelly.
Pallbearers will be Justin Reed, Burl Leslie, Jason Leslie, David Head, Dave Eiben, and Mike Vicich.
Memorials may be directed to a trust fund for his son, Connor.
