Springfield -- A Marseilles woman whose check to the Illinois Department of Insurance bounced doesn’t get to sell insurance. The department says 24-year old Amanda C. Janke’s license is revoked because her bank account didn’t have enough money in it to cover the fee.
That’s not the only check Janke’s ever bounced. She’s currently an Illinois prison inmate. She was convicted earlier this year of writing a bad check for the second time.
Her felony record is another reason her insurance license is revoked now.
