At last night’s city council meeting, Mayor Patti Smith said there’ll be about 60 garage sales that day and maps are available at City Hall. The Fall Market and Fun event is at Knudson Park from 8am to 3pm.

The Ottawa City Council didn’t raise the ambulance rates, but last night it did authorize itemize bills. So in addition to the basic, intermediate, or advanced care rate, patients will be charged extra for certain medical supplies used.
