Ottawa, Ill. -- Underage drinking, possession of a stolen vehicle, and failing to report an accident are among the charges three teenage Marseilles girls face after three wrecks in Ottawa early Sunday.
     The girls are accused of stealing a 2004 Chevy pickup truck in Marseilles and taking it to Ottawa. Police say the truck hit the Ziebart building, broke the gas meter there, and caused gas to leak inside the building. The truck also hit a concrete post at McDonald’s on Norris Dr.
     Their joyride ended when the truck knocked down three light posts on Columbus St. by the appellate courthouse.
     Accident reports indicate at least two of the girls took turns driving.
     A Joliet company owns the truck.
