Edward O. Redford, 89



          Edward O. Redford, 89, of Marseilles passed away Thursday, February 28, at Rivershores Healthcare and Rehabilitation Centre with his family at his side.
 
          Visitation will be from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Sunday at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Clark of the Marseilles Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
 
          He was born December 15, 1923 in Knifley, KY to Herbert and Rosa (Brockman) Redford. In 1947 he married Maxine Churchill of Beloit, WI who survives. He was a member and past president of the Marseilles Lions Club. He was employed by Nabisco for 42 years until his retirement. He was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by his family.
 
          Ed is survived by his wife Maxine; three daughters, Connie (Jim) Blanton, Linda (Brad) Cresto, and Cindy (Bob) Pierson all of Marseilles; 5 grandchildren, Beth (Paul) Coffey, Tracy (Jeff) Mrozek, Jeff Cresto, Nick (Jamie) Cresto, and John (Alicia) Pierson; 8 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Lou (Barry) Mann of Seneca and Doris Mendel of Madison, WI.
 
          He was preceded in death by five brothers, Ray, Bob, Ellis, Troy and Joe; two sisters, Christine Redford and Norma Redford; and one great-grandson, Reese Cresto.
 
          Memorials may be directed to Pet Project or the Marseilles Food Pantry.
         
          Pallbearers will be Jeff and Nick Cresto, John Pierson, Tyler Weber, Paul Coffey, and Jeff Mrozek.
