Titans keep winning, now 21-0

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- The Naplate Titans claimed four wins in a rain-shortened Fighting For A Cure tournament in Bourbonnais over the holiday weekend.

The 11U travel team opened pool play with a 4-2 win over Top Tier White on Saturday, with Luke Couch, Shane Reynolds and Lucas Hoffman providing the offense and Couch claiming the win.

The Titans followed that with two more pool play victories Sunday, routing Lincoln-Way 11-4 and rolling past Central Force 11-3. Kadon Harth fanned seven hitters in the victory over the Prospects, while Jacob Serby took the win against Central Force with seven strikeouts of his own.

On Monday, Naplate defeated Central Force again in tournament play, this time winning 7-2 with Serby earning the win. Nick Melvin, Shane Reynolds, Couch and Serby each tallied two hits in the victory.

Rain ended the tournament with Naplate in the semifinals. The Titans are now 21-0 on the season.
