Streaks split twin bill with Dixon

The Ottawa Knights of Columbus Streaks split a pair of one-run games Sunday, beating Dixon 2-1 in the first game before falling in the second game 6-5.
In the first game, Tyler Lundy drove in the winning run in support of Tristin DeBernardi, who retired his first 10 batters. Andrew Bacon celebrated his birthday with a pair of hits and an RBI to put the streaks on the scoreboard, while Jake Bonnell tripled yet again, giving him three three-baggers in his last three games.
Dixon earned a split in the second game largely thanks to Evan Munson, who drove in the winning run and finished 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Tyler Lundy doubled as part of a three-hit day, finishing with two RBIs in the nightcap.
Ottawa faces Ashton/Franklin Center in a doubleheader Tuesday.
