OES board approves three-year contract with Ottawa Youth Football

news@ottawaradio.net
Ottawa, IL. -- The Ottawa Elementary School Board approved a three year contract with Ottawa Youth Football, instead of the usual year to year agreement.
Superintendent Cleve Threadgill says the organization has been great to work with and they treat the athletic fields at the new Central Intermediate School respectfully.
Threadgill says, for the most part, the contract is the same.

He says you have to be careful when you start adding structures or anything electrical because there are codes, costs and insurance things to work out.
But, if Ottawa Youth Football wants to add something like a press box, Threadgill says, they’re certainly welcome to bring any plans they have to the board of education.
