Bears released RB Kevin Jones, Thomas Jones signed 2 year/$5 million dollar deal with KC Chiefs. The Steelers resigned safety Ryan Clark, the Bengals resigned DT Tank Johnson, and also picked Jonathan Scott and Antwaan Randle El via free agency. The Browns released QB Derek Anderson.

The Bulls allowed the most points defensively of the year dropping their 5th straight. Derrrick Rose scored 25 points to go with 13 assist, Brad Miller collected 20 points while Flip Murray and Luol Deng added 14 a piece. Deng had to leave in the 4th quarter with a strained calf. Chicago begins a 4-game road trip Thursday in Orlando. 6:30 pregame on AM 1430.
NCAA Mens Basketball: DePaul-49 VS South Florida-58 (Big East conference tourney)
Demetri McCamey of Illinois was named to the All-Big 10 1st team joining MSU's Kalin Lucas, Purdue's Robbie Hummel and E'Twaun Moore and Ohio State's Evan Turner. Turner was also named the Big 10 player of the year.
Illinois' D.J. Richardson was voted Big 10 freshman of the year by coaches while the media voted for Northwestern's Drew Crawford. Both made the All Big 10 freshman team.

The Morris Theatre Guild, Inc will hold open auditions for its spring production of William Saroyan's "The Time of Your Life", Monday and Tuesday, March 22nd and 23rd at 6:30 at the Guild in Morris on West Illinois Avenue. Illlinois Valley Community College is hosting its sixth annual "Irish Night Fundraiser", Saturday, March 6th at Celebrations 150. Featured will be the legendary Irish band of Chicago, "The Larkin & Moran Brothers - The Celtic Rat Pack".
