Ottawa -- Most of the mess from the Friday afternoon fire at the WCMY and WRKX radio office in downtown Ottawa has been cleaned up. A plastic bucket with cigarette butts and sand in it melted, and a wood column inside the radio station garage was charred. No one was hurt, but the fire department’s report notes that there were no smoke detectors in the building.
